These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the ExpensAce application and website, operated by ExpensAce Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“ExpensAce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please read these terms before using the service. By accepting these terms and using ExpensAce, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we handle personal information.
You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use ExpensAce.
The service is currently offered in India. Availability and purchasing options may vary by platform.
ExpensAce is a personal finance application for individuals. Its features include recording transactions, organising expenses, creating budgets, and tracking personal financial goals.
Some features are available through the Free plan. Others require a Pro subscription. The features and limits applicable to each plan are shown in the app or at purchase.
ExpensAce:
Is not a bank or lender.
Does not hold deposits or move money from your bank account.
Does not provide credit or loans.
Does not execute investments.
Does not provide personalised investment, tax, or financial advice.
Calculations, budgets, and goals are organisational tools. You remain responsible for your financial decisions.
You are responsible for maintaining secure access to your device and the Google or Apple account you use to sign in.
You must not impersonate another person or use another person’s account without authorisation.
Contact works@expensace.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for reviewing the information you enter or save.
The SMS parsing feature extracts information from a message you choose to paste. Extraction may be incomplete or inaccurate, including where message formats vary.
Review and correct the extracted details before saving them. ExpensAce records are not a substitute for official bank statements, payment confirmations, or other authoritative financial records.
You must only submit information you are entitled to use. Avoid submitting unrelated personal information or messages containing unnecessary confidential details.
You must not:
Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or information.
Interfere with the service or bypass security controls.
Upload malicious code.
Misuse support or deletion processes.
Copy, resell, or exploit the service commercially without permission.
Infringe another person’s rights.
The Free plan may include advertisements and feature limits. Pro provides the benefits shown at purchase, including an ad-free in-app experience.

The price shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and billing details, is the price you agree to pay.
There is no introductory free trial unless expressly offered at checkout.
Purchases are processed through the platform identified at checkout, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
Where a purchase is processed through Razorpay, its payment-processing terms also apply.
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal in accordance with the purchase platform’s rules.
You authorise the relevant payment provider to collect the disclosed subscription charges. ExpensAce receives the purchase information necessary to provide and manage access.
You can cancel renewal through the platform where you subscribed or through an available cancellation control.
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal. Pro access continues until the end of the current paid subscription period, unless applicable law or the purchase platform provides otherwise.
Uninstalling the app does not, by itself, cancel a subscription.
Subscriptions are not transferable between Apple and Google billing platforms. Purchasing on one platform does not automatically grant a separate purchase entitlement on another.
Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for the current paid period. Refund eligibility is subject to applicable law, the relevant purchase platform’s rules, and any offer-specific terms.
For Apple or Google Play purchases, use the relevant store’s refund process. You may also contact us for assistance with purchase or access problems.
For duplicate payments, incorrect charges, or purchased access not being delivered, contact works@expensace.in with your payment reference and a description of the issue.
For payments directly processed through Razorpay, ExpensAce reviews requests and initiates approved refunds through Razorpay.
Nothing in these terms excludes refund or other remedies available under applicable law.
When Pro expires, your account returns to the Free plan and its applicable limits.
Budgets and goals exceeding those limits may be hidden or inaccessible while you are on Free. This does not, by itself, mean they have been deleted. Account deletion and retention are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account from the Profile section or request deletion using the instructions at
/resources#delete-acc.
Deleting an account removes access to its information. A later sign-in creates a new account rather than restoring the deleted one.
You should verify the subscription status with your purchase platform and cancel any active renewal before deleting the account. Do not assume that uninstalling the app cancels billing.
Account deletion does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.
The Free plan contains advertising. Third-party services used for sign-in, payments, advertising, and other functions may have their own terms and privacy policies.
ExpensAce does not endorse an advertised product merely because an advertisement appears in the app.
We work to maintain a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may carry out maintenance, fix errors, or change features. Where changes materially affect an active paid subscription, we will provide notice and any remedies required by applicable law.
Future features are not included in a purchase unless expressly stated.
The ExpensAce name, branding, interface, software, and other service materials belong to us or our licensors.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the service for personal purposes in accordance with these terms.
You retain any rights you hold in information you submit. You permit us to process that information as necessary to provide the service and as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security risks, fraud, or a material breach of these terms.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for security or legal reasons.
Any handling of prepaid charges remains subject to applicable law and the circumstances of termination.
ExpensAce is an organisational tool, not a guarantee of savings, financial outcomes, or the accuracy of user-entered information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate entries, unreviewed parsed information, misuse of the service, or financial decisions made solely in reliance on app summaries.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Please first contact works@expensace.in so we can try to resolve a concern.
Subject to mandatory law, courts of competent jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka, will have jurisdiction. This does not restrict your right to approach a consumer commission or another authority where applicable law permits.
We may update these terms. We will publish the revised version, update its date, and provide notice or seek acceptance where required.
Changes will not remove rights that applicable law requires us to preserve.
